2016 March Escape Report

The March Escape at Lied Lodge was a tremendous success! About 20 people attended and enjoyed excellent food, massage and spa services, a pool, hot tub and sauna, and great service from the lodge. On Friday, there was a wine tasting at the gift shop for the hotel. We also enjoyed drinks in the lounge and knitting in the lobby and Junior Suite. Most ate in the restaurant at the hotel, which was a bit pricey but very good. They even had a dinner buffet with prime rib!

On Saturday, we had a potluck lunch with TONS of great food provided by all the NKCG attendees! We all ate like queens.

Some went shopping on Saturday afternoon and got great bargains. Others enjoyed the great weather.

The view from the hotel was not very green, but pretty in its own way.

Everyone did their own thing for dinner, although Dawana provided home-made potato soup. After dinner, many met back in the suite for knitting and Cards Against Humanity.

Sunday, breakfast at the lodge was excellent. A few stayed to knit and crochet after a noon checkout.
