Looking Forward to 2018

Wishing a Happy Holidays to all NKC Guild stitchers. It is time to make plans for 2018.

First order of business is the election of a new board. If you have every enjoyed meeting up with one of our groups, attended a NKCG class, or enjoyed discounts at area yarn stores, please consider throwing your hat in the ring. We need your participation to take us into the future.  While it has been an honor serving you this year, I will not be running for president next year. This will be an easy year to be president without retreat planning, but I’m getting ahead of myself. Instead, if it is agreeable to the new board I would like to focus on our educational component.  So, contact us to let us know that you are excited to participate for 2018

The Annual NKCG Fall Retreat is not scheduled for 2018. A change of venue and a fresh format is in order.

Save the date for the 3rd Annual “Is Winter Over Yet” Retreat, at Lied Lodge, February 23-25. Registration will start soon for a limited number of participants. Paid NKCG members will be given first priority. This is a cozy, relaxing and unstructured getaway with amenities of your choosing.  More details to follow.

Just a reminder, our guild membership drive begins in January.

Happy stitching,
Karen Bednarz NKCG President
